This place is open all days 24 hours and is so popular, the queue often stretches around the block. We had the costilla de cerdo con fritas and it was great!

Really good Peruvian food!

Defintely one of the best pizzerias in BsAs.

This is by far one of the best meals we’ve ever had here in Buenos Aires. The fish stew was outstanding and so was the grilled atun. The sauce for the fish stew is a simple sauce with sauteed onion, butter, cream and paprika with a little bit of lemon. (Original post: October 23, 2010)

Really good and simple Argentinean food. The bife de chorizo was great and so was the brain and chard ravioli. The chard fritters is a must. (Original post: October 23, 2010)

Definitely one of our top 10 best eating experiences here in Buenos Aires! Three perfect dishes and impossible to decide which one was the best. Unfortunately the molleja salad was not in stock, but that’s because they only serve the freshest ingredients. (Original post: October 15, 2010)

This is one of the best bakeries in Buenos Aires. If you’re ever in Caballitos, you have to go there – the wait in the queue will be worth it! (Original post: October 15, 2010)
El Globo is one of many Spanish restaurants located in this area. Here at El Globo you can eat a whole little ovenbaked pig. Really good! (Original post: October 2, 2010)

If you’re tired of meat, they specialise in fish and seafood, cooked in the Galician style. (Original post: September 30, 2010)
You either hate them or love them – media horas are classic candies from Argentina with really cool packaging. (Media hora means half hour.)
El Preferido is definitely on of our favourite restaurants in Bs As. The fabadas asturianas, one of their specialities, was really tasty. (This is originally an Austrian dish cooked with white beans, sausage and pork meat, now also rated as one of the ten most typical Spanish dishes). (Original post: September 18, 2010)

Milanesas a caballo con papas fritas (Breaded fillet of steak with fried eggs and chips) is good! (Original post: September 12, 2010)
This place seats over 1000 people and over weekends the queues are massive! The meat is brilliant – I’ve never seen so much meat in my life. Definitely going back. (Original post: September 9, 2010)

Muy rica! (Orginal post: September 8, 2010)

Today’s lunch was at La Vera Calabria. One of their specialities is chivito (goat). We had some tagliatelle, the chivito a la calabresa, tiramisu and zapallos. (Original post: September 5, 2010)

We went there on Wednesday night for dinner. They had MUY RICAS las papas fritas, the BEST mojellas we’ve ever had and their milanesas looked amazing. They literally made 100′s for takeaways while we were there. (Original post: September 5, 2010)

Saturday lunch included cured ham from Spain and Mimolette (which apparently was Charles de Gaulle’s favourite) cheese sprinkled with cognac. (Original post: September 4, 2010)
Last night we went to Albamonte. By 9pm it was packed and people were queuing at the door! We ordered the recommended los trillas frittas (deep fried red mullets), lengua vinagret (tongue in a vinaigrette) and the arroz con calamares (rice with calamari). Everything was amazing. The fish was crispy on the outside and juicy and tasty. The tongue was soft and tender like paté and the calmari had an amazing strong taste, almost like fish Marmite.
