    SPIER

Experiencing just how unique every year can be in the world of wine!

Spier will be offering vertical tasting workshops of their award winning 21 Gables Chenin Blanc and Pinotage.

Vertical tastings gives participants the opportunity to taste different vintages (years) of the same wine, and experience not only the impact that weather can have on the wine, but also the influence that aging has on a wine.

Spier’s winemakers will give insights into how the weather and location (i.e. terroir) may affect the grapes and influence the resulting wine.
Vertical tastings offer wine lovers as well as those new to wine tasting a better understanding of the mystery of wine and the factors that play into a wine’s vintage heritage.

    Workshop timeslots:

    3 September
    10:00 – 11:00 WORKSHOP Spier vertical tasting
    14:30 – 15:30 WORKSHOP Spier vertical tasting

    4 September
    11:00 – 12:00 WORKSHOP Spier vertical tasting

Workshops can be booked before the event at toffie@thepresident.co.za or at the venue.
